Knights on the Mall Policies

Reservations

Tailgate spaces on Memory Mall can only be reserved by current UCF Students or registered Alumni in their respective sections.

Each Student/Alumni is allowed to reserve one (1) space per game. If additional reservations are made by one individual, all duplicate reservations will be released.

At the time of check-out, each reservation holder can list a second name that is permitted to check-into the tailgate space on game day. Ensure that the listed second name matches valid photo ID to be presented at the time of check-in.

All Alumni must be verified with the UCF Alumni Association, if information does not match UCF Alumni Association records, the reservation will be released.

Reservations will open at 6:00PM on the Sunday prior to each game. Separate reservations are needed for each individual game.

Week of the Game

If a reservation confirmation email is not received within 48 hours of making the reservation, we reccommend checking your junk/spam folders. If you still cannot find a confirmation email, reservation holders should contact KOTM@ucf.edu to ensure they have reserved a space properly.

All current UCF Students may pick up their complimentary parking pass (Valid for the top level of Garage H) at the Information Desk on the 1st Floor of the Student Union with a valid student ID during the week leading up to game day. Parking passes are available on a first-come, first serve basis. Limited quantities available.

No longer able to tailgate for the game? Please fill-out the Reservation Release form so that another Student/Alumni will be able to tailgate on Memory Mall. Reservations should be released by 9am on game day at the latest, in order to avoid restrictions on future tailgate reservations.

Game Day

UCF Game Day Policies are in effect campus wide.

Tailgate will begin six hours prior to kick-off. Check-in may begin as early as fifteen (15) minutes prior to the start of tailgate.

Only the reservation holder or a designated second party member, with valid photo ID, may check in for their tailgate space. The reservation holder is responsible for all people and activities that take place within their tailgate space.

If spots are not checked in two (2) hours following the start of check-in they will be released to other Students and Alumni wishing to tailgate. The reservation holder will be tagged as a “No-Show”.Reservation holders that opt not to cancel their spot and are tagged as a “No-Show” may face restrictions on future tailgates.

Same-day reservations are accepted, however, a member of the party must check-in at a KOTM tent before setting up in any space, even spaces that appear unoccupied.

If there are concerns about being able to check in for a reserved space in time, please contact KOTM@ucf.edu for assistance.

Please be aware of Game Day parking procedures and available lots.

Gemini Boulevard North between East Plaza and West Plaza drives will be closed to vehicular traffic prior to and during tailgating each game day. Memory Mall tailgaters who wish to drop off their tailgating gear in that area can do so by the barricades on either side. The road will be reopened at the discretion of law enforcement following the conclusion of tailgatin

Please be aware of the campus-wide tailgating policies:

Tailgating offers a special time for reunions of family, friends and alumni. UCF is pleased to host these gatherings and also to welcome all of our guests to campus. To protect our environment and our beautiful campus, we ask all fans to please put recyclables and trash in the containers we provide throughout the campus.

We expect all fans to celebrate responsibly and adhere to the following rules while on campus. Failure to abide by these rules may, among other consequences, result in removal from campus, loss of season-ticket privileges, student disciplinary action or arrest.

All fans are expected to be respectful to university property and all of the fans around them. Drunkenness, vandalism, obscene or harassing behavior and violence (or threats of violence) will not be tolerated and should be reported to the nearest law enforcement official.

The unlawful possession, distribution or use of any drug or controlled substance is prohibited on the UCF campus. Violators of this policy shall be subject to state and federal laws, city and county ordinances and university disciplinary action.

The following are prohibited at all times:

Any rapid, excessive or irresponsible consumption of alcoholic beverages.

Drinking contests or games or any other activities that involve the rapid and/or excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages

No tow-behind trailers longer than 10 feet are allowed in non-RV parking lots. In addition, all vehicles and other tailgating items must fit within allotted parking space. Trailer, tents, etc. may not protrude into adjacent parking spaces.

Propane cooking grills are highly recommended for tailgating. If using charcoal, carefully dispose of hot coals in designated barrels. All open-flame cooking appliances must be a minimum of 10 feet away from any building, structure or overhang.

Portable generators (1500 watts or less) are authorized in designated surface parking lots and tailgating areas.

Personal tents/canopies must be 10 feet x 10 feet or smaller and are only allowed directly behind the tailgating spot being used. Tents/canopies may not be set up in an adjacent tailgating spot.

Couches and indoor furniture are not permitted outdoors.

Kegs, glass containers and beer funnels are not authorized on campus.

No live bands; excessively loud, amplified sound systems; DJ equipment; and turntables are allowed on campus.

Sidewalks must be kept clear of tents, grills, furniture, speakers and other tailgating items at all times. For the safety of fans, power or extension cords cannot run across sidewalks.

UCF Student Ticketing

UCF Athletics has announced a new student ticketing platform which will improve the entry process for you at UCF football games. You will now have access to a mobile ticketing platform through your smart devices that will allow you to claim your ticket. This new platform will also provide a convenient way for you to purchase football guest passes. Our new mobile ticketing platform will also help us keep an eye on the number of student tickets claimed and allow us to communicate directly with you in an effort to make sure as many of you get into the game as possible.

Please visit UCFStudentTix.com on your mobile device to sign up. Once you've signed up, you will receive notification when student tickets are available for each game. You'll then utilize your mobile device to claim your free ticket for each game. UCF student identification cards are still necessary when you arrive to the game. You will need to show your UCF ID along with your mobile ticket, but your UCF ID will no longer be scanned.

There are step-by-step videos on UCF Athletics social media platforms and more information at UCFKnights.com to assist you in this new process.

Please note, claiming a ticket for game does NOT guarantee entry to the game. We are still encouraging you to arrive early to ensure you are in the stadium to see the Knights play. Again, we are expecting the student sections to fill up quickly for each home game. As always, entry to all UCF Athletics events are free for students.

You --our students -- are integral in creating a great game-day atmosphere. You are the Knightmare! Your peers, who are representing our university in competition, appreciate your support.
